Cut log steps lead to a floating deck with shade structure which is the focal point of a yard renovation by licensed contractor Matt Blashaw. Blashaw included a tin tile privacy wall to define the backyard, a metal water feature, fire feature with boulder seating, vegetable planters and new landscaping giving this backyard a warm and welcoming vibe.
This incredible backyard space is prefect for entertaining. The wood wall offers a great focal point for the space and by adding the garden containers you get added color and dimension but the designer Matt Blashaw from DIY's Yard Crashers didn't just stop there. He added a beautiful floating bench and drop down bar/serving area.
A salute to the elements of fire and water are embodied in a rain curtain surrounded by two custom metal fire bowls, built by licensed contractor Matt Blashaw. Matt designed and built an outdoor movie theatre lounge which includes a cocktail table, movie theatre popcorn machine, movie projector inside of a bar with a granite countertop, custom metal fire bowls, rain curtain, salt finish concrete patio and privacy trees.
As seen on DIY Network’s Yard Crashers this home owned by Michael and Karl has been under renovation for the past 12 years to fit their contemporary lifestyle and love of entertaining. The backyard has an old flagstone patio, dilapidated fences, and the trees and shrubs are overgrown. Licensed contractor Matt Blashaw and his Yard Crashers team are going to completely transform the space. The yard makeover will include a fish fountain water feature, a metal and glass fire feature, an outdoor counter faced with wood and metal with a new barbecue and corrugated metal decorative screens.
